Job Title: Banquet Cook – Hilton Garden Inn, GR
Company: Suburban Inns
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $17 for a Banquet Cook at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally considered to be within the competitive range for this role, though it may be on the lower end of the spectrum. According to industry standards and labor data for similar positions in the region, banquet cooks typically earn between $15 and $22 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and the specific demands of the position. Factors such as local cost of living, demand for culinary jobs, and the hotel’s reputation could also affect competitiveness. Given these considerations, while $17/hour is viable, it may not attract highly experienced cooks or reflect the skills required for more complex culinary tasks.
