Company: Suburban Inns
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 for a Banquet Cook at the Hilton Garden Inn in Grand Rapids, MI, is somewhat competitive but may vary based on factors such as experience, specific job duties, and the local cost of living. As of 2023, average wages for cooks in the Grand Rapids area typically range from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on the establishment and the type of cooking involved. Considering that banquet cooks often require specialized skills and the role can involve longer hours during events, the offered rate is on the lower end of the spectrum, particularly for those with experience. Overall, while $17 is within the range, offering slightly more might attract more experienced candidates and align better with industry standards.
