The Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center, located in Lewis Center, Ohio, is currently seeking part-time Banquet Servers and Attendants to enhance our team. Our venue is one of the largest in Columbus, hosting a diverse array of meetings during the week and beautiful weddings on weekends.
As a Banquet Server and Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This position encompasses both service and product knowledge responsibilities, with a primary emphasis on fostering a hospitable environment. You will be involved in serving both food and beverages across various settings within our property.

Essential Functions:
- Efficiently set up equipment and items necessary for the successful execution of events, which typically includes arranging buffets, food or drink stations, setting tables, and preparing for food and beverage service.
- Serve food and beverages to guests as detailed in the Banquet Event Order, ensuring that items are continually stocked and maintained to meet guest demands while adhering to presentation standards.
- Proactively anticipate and address guest needs before and during events to deliver high-quality service and achieve guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly refreshing the space, which includes removing dirty dishes and trash.
- Conduct teardown and clean-up of all equipment and items used during service, returning them to storage for future events.
Physical Requirements:

- The position requires standing for the duration of shifts.
