We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. This position offers an hourly wage between $15 and $17, in addition to tips. For part-time roles, we offer a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and dismantle banquet rooms according to the Banquets Manager’s directives, including arranging linens, service ware, and glassware.
- Attend pre-shift meetings before events to gather essential information regarding guest expectations, guest counts, menu items, VIPs, and other relevant details.
- Provide a warm welcome to guests and address their requests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Prepare and clear tables, ensuring that china, glass, and silverware are properly arranged.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Previous experience as a server for a minimum of six months is preferred.
- Execute side work to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
- Keep service areas clean and organized.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the menu, including any special offerings.
- Deliver prompt, attentive, and professional service to banquet guests, ensuring clear communication with all patrons.
- Serve food at the correct temperature immediately after it becomes available from the kitchen, as requested by the customer.
- Ensure that all items are presented neatly without spillage.
- Proactively assist with clearing tables during peak periods as needed.
- Maintain flexibility to work during busy times and special events.
- Restock beverage stations as required (e.g., ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets).
- Remain responsive to customer needs and requests.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to enhance the dining experience for patrons.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of bar offerings to accurately address patron inquiries.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is strongly preferred; however, equivalent experience may be accepted.
- At least one (1) year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants is preferred.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Exhibit an energetic and positive demeanor with a friendly disposition.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Quick learning aptitude is necessary.
