We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. This position offers an hourly wage between $15 and $17, in addition to tips. For part-time roles, we offer a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and dismantle banquet rooms according to the Banquets Manager’s directives, including arranging linens, service ware, and glassware.
• Attend pre-shift meetings before events to gather essential information regarding guest expectations, guest counts, menu items, VIPs, and other relevant details.
• Provide a warm welcome to guests and address their requests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Prepare and clear tables, ensuring that china, glass, and silverware are properly arranged.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Previous experience as a server for a minimum of six months is preferred.
• Execute side work to ensure readiness for upcoming events.
• Keep service areas clean and organized.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the menu, including any special offerings.
• Deliver prompt, attentive, and professional service to banquet guests, ensuring clear communication with all patrons.
• Serve food at the correct temperature immediately after it becomes available from the kitchen, as requested by the customer.
• Ensure that all items are presented neatly without spillage.
• Proactively assist with clearing tables during peak periods as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to work during busy times and special events.
• Restock beverage stations as required (e.g., ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets).
• Remain responsive to customer needs and requests.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to enhance the dining experience for patrons.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
