As a banquet server at Greenleaf Hospitality Group, you will be an Intention Seeker, continuously looking for ways to provide exceptional and unique services at some of the most significant events in our guests’ lives and careers. We will equip you with essential skills in setting up, serving, guest interaction, food and beverage knowledge, and anticipating guest needs. You will work collaboratively as part of a larger team that values respect, support, friendly engagement, and enjoyment in our work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve guests at events through a variety of activities including, but not limited to:
  • Carrying trays, serving meals, and servicing buffets
  • Clearing dishes and replenishing beverages
  • Providing butler service and bartending
• Prepare for events by:
  • Setting up tablecloths, napkins, place settings, guest-provided items, condiments, and centerpieces
  • Designing and decorating buffets and food and beverage stations
• Engage with guests in a warm, knowledgeable manner
• Foster a respectful and supportive environment for fellow team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow directions from various supervisors effectively
• Adapt seamlessly to working independently and as part of a team
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, while being proactive in delivering personalized guest experiences
• Exceed guest expectations while responding to their requests
• Adhere to the service standards established during training
• Assist in other Food and Beverage outlets as required, assuming roles of host, server, and/or bartender

Qualifications:

• Open availability is essential; shift days, times, and lengths may vary
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more
• Capability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Proficiency in safely handling potentially hazardous chemicals and equipment
• Compliance with safety and health code standards is mandatory
• Experience with repetitive motion tasks
• Reliable transportation is required
