Job description:
We are seeking a Banquet Set Up professional to provide exceptional service to our guests by efficiently setting up and dismantling banquet rooms, utilizing chairs, tables, and audiovisual equipment for various functions. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and profitable banquet facility, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality service and hospitality.

Responsibilities:
- Execute the setup and teardown of all function room spaces in accordance with the Banquet Event Order (BEO) specifications and company standards.
- Assist Captains and servers in serving food and beverages and restocking buffet lines as needed.
- Collaborate as a team member to contribute to the smooth operation of the banquet area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and kitchen areas.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and a cooperative attitude towards guests, coworkers, and management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in banquet setup or related food and beverage service is advantageous.
- Proficient in reading basic English to interpret BEOs and effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
- Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Capability to follow instructions with the guidance of supervisors.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crouch, twist, and reach for prolonged periods.
- Possess moderate to high energy levels and physical endurance.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. intermittently throughout the workday and push carts or equipment weighing over 250 lbs. occasionally.
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
