Job Summary:
A Banquet Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful setup and execution of all assigned banquet functions.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification is required, in compliance with state regulations.
  • The ability to clearly communicate information and ideas is essential.
  • Must possess the capability to quickly and accurately evaluate and select among alternative courses of action.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, adapting to the varying scheduling needs of the hotel.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag during shifts, as per brand standards.
  • Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Fulfill certification requirements applicable to the position, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler Safety certifications.
  • Consistently maintain a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Undertake preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure prompt and efficient service to guests.
  • Become knowledgeable about the Banquet Event Order and the menu for assigned functions.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Access to back-of-house areas of the hotel and sensitive information is expected.
  • Interact with guests and colleagues, occasionally having unsupervised contact.
  • Responsible for accessing and controlling sensitive areas within hotel premises, including the safe and secure file cabinets.
  • Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility.
  • Represent the company with a strong sense of reputation and character, exercising sound judgment at all times.
