Job Description
Job Title: Bar Back | Part-Time | Agora
Company: Oak View Group
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: $8.8 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $8.80 for a part-time Bar Back position in Cleveland, OH, appears to be below the industry standard for similar roles. Typically, bar backs in urban areas like Cleveland earn between $10 and $15 per hour, depending on experience and the establishment. Additionally, on a state level, Ohio’s minimum wage as of 2023 is around $9.30, which places the offered rate at a non-competitive level when considering local living costs and the responsibilities of the role. Overall, this rate may struggle to attract applicants in a competitive job market, particularly given the rising wages in the service sector.
