In this role, you will prepare specialty beverages, assist with food preparation, and manage order and payment transactions, all while delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently operate a register/POS system while accurately handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Welcome and assist customers, proactively anticipating their needs.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks in accordance with brand standards.
  • Prepare and serve food items in compliance with location standards.
  • Manage cash drawer operations by organizing, counting, balancing, and processing deposits.
  • Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Set up and break down the coffee bar and stations, ensuring all cleaning and sanitizing protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
  • Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments as needed.
  • Comply with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a barista is beneficial.
  • Basic math and counting skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Compliance with the designated dress code is mandatory.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, with the ability to follow recipes.
  • Completion of Food Handling Certification as required.

This position may involve physical demands, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may also be necessary.
