Job description:
Responsible for the production of a diverse range of intricate beverage recipes, utilizing a complex combination of ingredients in accordance with standardized recipes. This role requires functioning effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment at Starbucks and operating specialized kitchen equipment. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying ingredients and finished products that do not meet established quality standards and will address any discrepancies immediately while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in the work area.
Additionally, this position involves preparation for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections. The ideal candidate will create personalized experiences for customers by demonstrating product knowledge and accurately fulfilling specific customer requests, as well as executing effective service recovery when products do not meet customer expectations.
Essential functions include:
– Producing a variety of intricate beverage recipes according to standardized recipes.
– Learning and retaining beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
– Performing efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
– Multitasking to fulfill various duties and roles, including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities.
– Operating and cleaning specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshooting any issues, and resolving or escalating them to leadership.
