Job description:

Responsible for the preparation of an extensive range of intricate beverage recipes, utilizing a diverse combination of ingredients in accordance with standardized recipes. Operate within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, employing specialized kitchen equipment. Demonstrate the ability to identify ingredients and finished products that do not comply with established quality standards, taking corrective action as necessary. Uphold safety and sanitation standards throughout the work area while ensuring a positive and personalized experience for every customer.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare a wide variety of complex beverage recipes by adhering to standardized recipes.
  • Acquire and retain knowledge of beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipe specifications.
  • Successfully navigate a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Perform various operational duties, including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities.
  • Operate and maintain specialized kitchen equipment, addressing any issues or escalating them to leadership when necessary.
  • Identify and rectify non-compliant ingredients or finished products immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards in the work area.
  • Prepare for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections.
  • Provide personalized customer experiences, showcasing knowledge of products and ensuring accuracy in fulfilling specific customer requests.
  • Implement effective service recovery strategies to address any instances where products do not meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English; basic math and computer skills.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food service and cash handling.
