Job description:
Responsible for the production of a diverse array of intricate beverage recipes, utilizing a complex combination of ingredients in accordance with standardized recipes. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while employing specialized kitchen equipment. Capable of identifying ingredients and finished products that do not meet established quality standards and taking corrective actions as necessary. Maintain safety and sanitation standards within the work area, and contribute to creating an exceptional experience for customers.
Essential Functions:
- Produce a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from a complex assortment of ingredients according to standardized recipes.
- Learn and retain information regarding beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Multitask effectively to perform various duties within the operation, including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities.
- Operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment; troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate to leadership when necessary.
- Identify and address ingredients or finished products that do not comply with established quality standards promptly.
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards throughout the work area.
- Prepare adequately for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections.
- Deliver personalized experiences for customers while demonstrating product knowledge and precision in fulfilling specific customer requests.
- Execute effective service recovery when products do not meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and communicating effectively in English, along with basic math and computer skills.
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in food service and cash handling.
