Job Title: Barista, Detroit Airport

Company: Delaware North

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $17.4 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.40 for a Barista position at Detroit Airport is slightly above the minimum wage in Michigan, which is $10.10 per hour as of 2023. However, when compared to industry standards for baristas in urban areas, particularly in a high-traffic location like an airport, it may be considered on the lower end, as typical rates range from $15 to $20 per hour, with some positions possibly offering more based on experience and tips. Additionally, considering the cost of living in Detroit and the demands of working in a busy airport environment, the wage may not be fully competitive for attracting skilled baristas, especially given the potential for high turnover in this role.
