Job Title: Barista, Detroit Airport

Company: Delaware North

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $17.4 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.40 for a Barista position at Detroit Airport is generally competitive, especially when compared to the industry standards for similar roles in the Detroit area and nationally. As of 2023, baristas in urban areas typically earn between $14 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and location. Given the higher cost of living in urban settings and the added responsibilities often associated with airport positions, such as heightened customer service expectations and potential tips, this rate is in line with or slightly above average for the region. Therefore, it can be considered a fair wage for the role, especially when factoring in benefits and working conditions at an airport venue.
