Job Title: Barista, Detroit Airport

Company: Delaware North

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $17.4 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $17.40 for a Barista position at Detroit Airport is comparatively competitive, though it can vary based on several factors such as experience, responsibilities, and the specific employer. In major cities like Detroit, baristas typically earn between $13 to $18 per hour, with tips sometimes supplementing base pay significantly in high-traffic areas like airports. Given these considerations, the offered rate aligns well with industry standards for entry-level positions in the region, suggesting that it is an attractive option, especially for those starting in the coffee service industry or seeking part-time work. However, potential employees may want to assess benefits and work conditions in addition to the hourly wage.
