We are seeking to fill a full-time Barista/Food Service Utility position immediately.

Location: Amgen – 14549 Worthington Road Northwest, New Albany, OH 43054. Please note that we only accept online applications.

Schedule: This position requires a full-time commitment, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview.

Job Summary: The Barista/Food Service Utility is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines and maintaining high standards of quality in food service operations. Interacting with customers and fellow team members in a friendly and courteous manner is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering, adhering to standard measurements and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS device and process cash and credit payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP standards regarding presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Ensure sanitation and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Confirm proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free from debris during meal services.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greet customers in a courteous manner and ensure their satisfaction, addressing any concerns with supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to mitigate delays in service.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items and provide accurate explanations to customers.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to engage customers and assist them in their decision-making.
• Ensure display foods are attractively presented and served according to standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
