We are seeking to fill a full-time position for a Barista/Food Service Utility immediately. This role is based at Amgen, located at 14549 Worthington Road Northwest, New Albany, OH 43054. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Job Summary:
As a Barista/Food Service Utility, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items in accordance with HACCP guidelines and quality standards. You will engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner, contributing to a positive service environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standardized recipes and measurements.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and credit transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in line with HACCP standards.
• Ensure the sanitation and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Prepare food according to approved recipes and established production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greet and interact with customers courteously to ensure their satisfaction, relaying any relevant customer feedback to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in service.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items and convey this information accurately to customers.
• Advocate effective selling techniques to assist customers in their decision-making process.
• Ensure attractive merchandising of display foods according to standards, serving food neatly and appealingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
