Job Description
Job Title: BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a barista position in Cleveland, OH, is generally considered competitive, as it aligns with or slightly exceeds the minimum wage in the state, which is $15 per hour as of 2023. However, it may be on the lower end of the spectrum compared to prevailing wages in the coffee and food service industry, where baristas often earn between $15 to $20 per hour including tips, especially in urban areas where the cost of living is higher. Additionally, factors such as experience, location within the city, and the specific employer’s pay structure can further influence competitiveness. While this wage is acceptable for entry level or part-time roles, more experienced baristas or those in premium establishments might expect higher compensation.
