Job description:
We are actively seeking candidates for full-time and part-time Barista positions to join our team immediately. The work location is Compass Group, situated at 165 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

### Job Summary
The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks, as well as related food and beverage items. Adhering to HACCP guidelines and maintaining quality standards are essential aspects of the role. The successful candidate will interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.

### Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
– Accurately enter orders into the POS device and process cash and charge payments.
– Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, ensuring cleanliness of the service area.
– Maintain proper presentation and portion control while adhering to HACCP standards.
– Ensure all equipment, supplies, and utensils are sanitized and orderly.
– Follow approved recipes and prescribed production standards for food preparation.
– Keep display equipment clean and free from debris during meal service.
– Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
– Greet customers courteously and engage to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns to supervisors as necessary.
– Serve customers promptly and efficiently to minimize delays in service lines.
– Demonstrate a thorough understanding of daily menu items and communicate them effectively to customers.
– Advocate selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting customers in the decision-making process.
– Ensure display foods are attractively merchandised and served in a neat manner.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
