Job Description
Job Title: BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Middletown, OH
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a barista position in Middletown, OH, is generally competitive, especially considering the local cost of living and the average wages for similar roles in the area. As of 2023, typical barista wages in Ohio range from $12 to $18 per hour, depending on factors like experience, specific employer, and whether tips are included. While the base rate is at the lower end of the spectrum, it may be appealing for part-time roles or for those entering the workforce. Overall, $16 is reasonable but could be enhanced with incentives or benefits to attract more skilled candidates, especially in a market increasingly focused on fair wages.
