Job Description
Job Title: BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $11 – 20 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $11 to $20 for a barista position in Columbus, OH, falls within the lower to mid-range of typical compensation for this role. According to current industry standards, the pay for baristas in the U.S. generally averages between $12 and $15 per hour, with higher-end positions or those in costlier areas reaching up to $20 or more, especially when tips are factored in. In Columbus, where the cost of living is moderate, this pay scale is competitive, particularly for entry-level or part-time positions. Therefore, while $11 to $20 can be seen as appealing, especially for those seeking flexible work, it may not be sufficient for experienced baristas looking for higher wages reflective of their skills and local economic conditions.
