Job description:

We are actively seeking to fill a full-time Barista position at our Reynolds & Reynolds location in Beavercreek, OH, situated at 2405 County Line Road. We encourage qualified candidates to submit online applications only.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional details to be discussed during the interview. While prior barista experience is preferred, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Job Summary: In this role, you will prepare and serve various coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items, adhering to HACCP guidelines and maintaining high-quality service standards. You will interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring a clean service area.
• Maintain presentation, portion control, and proper serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Adhere to approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstations before transitioning to other tasks.
• Greet customers with courtesy and engage with them to enhance their experience, relaying any relevant feedback to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in service.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate this to customers.
• Advocate for selling techniques by establishing good communication and aiding customers in their decision-making.
• Ensure all display foods are attractively merchandised and served in a neat manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
