We are currently seeking candidates for an immediate full-time Barista position at Whirlpool Headquarters, located at 2000 M-63, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. Please note that only online applications will be accepted for this role.

Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks along with related food and beverage items. You will ensure adherence to HACCP guidelines and maintain high standards for food service quality while providing friendly and courteous interactions with customers and colleagues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders and catering requests using standardized recipes and measures.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle cash and card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Ensure the sanitation and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris throughout meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstations at the end of your duties before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any relevant concerns directly with supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize wait times in serving lines.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate this to customers.
• Advocate for effective selling techniques to aid customers in their purchasing decisions.
• Merchandise display foods attractively according to established standards and serve food neatly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
