Job description:

We are currently seeking to fill a full-time Barista position at our New Albany location.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, as well as related food and drink items. You will ensure all food is handled according to HACCP guidelines, adhering to the highest standards of quality in food service operations while fostering a welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare espresso drinks and catering orders using standard recipes.
  • Process customer orders through the POS system and handle cash and electronic payments.
  • Replenish condiments and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
  • Ensure proper presentation and portion control in accordance with HACCP standards, while maintaining appropriate serving temperatures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
  • Follow approved recipes for food preparation and uphold production standards.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
  • Clean your workstation and equipment thoroughly before transitioning to other tasks.
  • Greet customers with courtesy and ensure their satisfaction by addressing any concerns to supervisors.
  • Serve customers efficiently, minimizing delays in service.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items, providing accurate explanations to customers.
