We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for immediate full-time BARISTA positions at Henry Ford Hospital located at 11800 Twelve Mile Road, Warren, MI 48093. Please note that applications can be submitted online only.

Job Summary:
The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, adhering to HACCP guidelines and maintaining high standards of quality in food-service operations. This role involves engaging with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering according to standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while ensuring the service area remains clean.
• Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in compliance with HACCP standards.
• Uphold cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensure food preparation aligns with approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris throughout meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other tasks.
• Greet customers courteously and engage in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in service.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items and effectively communicate them to customers.
• Advocate for selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting customers in their decision-making process.
• Ensure all display foods are presented attractively and serve food neatly according to standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
