We are currently seeking qualified candidates for full-time Barista positions, available immediately. The location for this role is Atrium Medical Center, situated at One Medical Center Drive, Middletown, OH 45005. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

The work schedule is full-time, with varying days from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Further details regarding the schedule will be provided during the interview process. While previous barista experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages, alongside related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines and quality food-service standards, while also engaging customers and coworkers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering, applying standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and card transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while ensuring a clean service area.
• Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Adhere to approved recipes and production standards for proper food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and free from debris during meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstations at the conclusion of service.
• Greet customers courteously and engage with them to ensure satisfaction, relaying any relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers promptly and efficiently, minimizing delays in service.
• Maintain a strong understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate them to customers.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to assist customers in their decision-making process.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and ensure food is served neatly and in accordance with standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
