Job description:

We are currently seeking a full-time BARISTA to join our team, with immediate hiring available.

The position is located at Reynolds & Reynolds, 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that we accept online applications exclusively.

The work schedule consists of full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

While prior barista experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, and we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus is available. The pay range for this position is between $17.50 and $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages, as well as related food and beverage items. Adherence to HACCP guidelines and maintaining quality food-service operations are essential. The barista will engage with customers and team members in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering, utilizing standard measures and recipes.
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the POS system and process cash and charge payments.
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, ensuring cleanliness of the service area.
  • Maintain appropriate presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, in compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Ensure the sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
  • Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
  • Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation prior to transitioning to other assignments.
  • Greet customers with courtesy and engage in interactions that promote customer satisfaction, relaying any concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in servicing lines.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items, providing accurate descriptions to customers.
  • Advocate for sales techniques by facilitating communication that aids customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure that display foods are presented attractively and that food is served neatly in accordance with standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
