Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items. You will adhere to HACCP guidelines and quality standards for food service operations and will be expected to interact with customers and fellow employees in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders and cater to customer requests using standardized measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle cash and charge transactions.
• Replenish condiments and general supplies while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures in compliance with HACCP standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and organized during meal service.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other tasks.
• Greet customers courteously, ensuring their satisfaction and communicating any relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in service lines.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items and provide accurate explanations to customers.
• Use effective selling techniques to assist customers with their purchasing decisions.
• Ensure display foods are presented attractively per established standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
