We are seeking to fill part-time BARISTA positions immediately.

Location: Henry Ford Providence Hospital, 16001 West 9 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075. Please note that we only accept online applications.

Job Summary:
The BARISTA will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, as well as related food and beverage items, adhering to HACCP guidelines and quality standards. The incumbent will engage with customers and fellow employees courteously and professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders and other beverages for customers and catering, utilizing standard recipes and measurements.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and charge payments.
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area, replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper presentation and portion control while adhering to HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of all equipment and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes to ensure quality food preparation.
• Keep display areas free from debris and clean during service.
• Thoroughly clean the workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
• Courteously greet customers and address their concerns by communicating with supervisors when necessary.
• Serve customers promptly to prevent delays.
• Understand daily menu offerings and accurately communicate them to customers.
• Promote merchandise through effective communication and customer engagement.
• Ensure attractive merchandising of display foods and maintain serving standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
