We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening for a part-time Barista position at Miami Valley Hospital South, located at 2400 Miami Valley Drive, Centerville, OH 45459. Please note that we only accept online applications.

Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items in accordance with HACCP guidelines and quality standards. Your role will also involve interacting with customers and fellow employees with a friendly and courteous demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare espresso orders for customers, ensuring adherence to standard measures and recipes.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies in the service area.
  • Ensure proper presentation and portion control, as well as compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Keep all equipment, supplies, and utensils organized and sanitized.
  • Follow prescribed recipes and production standards for food preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of display equipment during meal service.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations before transitioning to other responsibilities.
  • Greet customers warmly and interact to ensure their satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Serve customers efficiently, minimizing delays in service.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items to provide accurate product information to customers.
  • Promote selling techniques and assist customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Present all display foods according to established merchandising standards and serve neatly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
