We are seeking enthusiastic candidates for immediate full-time opportunities as a Barista at our Cleveland Clinic Starbucks location, situated at 2049 East 100th, Cleveland, OH 44106. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Work Schedule: Our team operates Monday through Friday, providing a favorable work-life balance with no late nights or weekends. Available shifts include 5:30 AM to 2:00/2:30 PM and 9:00/9:30 AM to 5:00/5:30 PM.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: The hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00.

Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages, along with food and related items. You will adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality while providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standardized recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and credit payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring the cleanliness of the service area.
• Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, adhering to HACCP standards.
• Keep all equipment, supplies, and utensils sanitized and orderly.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of display equipment and workstations.
• Greet customers warmly, ensuring a satisfying customer experience, and communicate relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to minimize delays in service.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items and provide accurate information to customers.
• Promote sales through strong communication and assist customers in their purchasing decisions.
• Ensure that all display food is presented attractively and served neatly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
