Position Details:
- Compensation: Up to $18 per hour
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential weekend and holiday shifts
- Availability: Full-time and part-time positions are offered
Key Responsibilities:
As a Barista, you will play a vital role in fulfilling the Wallick mission and values by delivering outstanding customer service and expertly crafting quality coffee beverages for our residents and guests. You will collaborate closely with the Food Service team to ensure a seamless service experience and foster a warm, welcoming environment.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year of prior experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow beverage recipes while ensuring consistency
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively multitask
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Brew Barista coffee and the flavor of the day
- Prepare specialty drinks to order, adhering to all recipes
- Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding product and supply needs
- Adhere to the uniform dress code to maintain a professional appearance
- Provide assistance to colleagues as needed, promoting a collaborative work environment
- Place orders for necessary products at the location
- Conduct weekly inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels
- Stand and/or walk for approximately 50% of your shift
- Occasionally lift items up to 25 lbs., with frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs. as required for stocking and other tasks

Physical Demands:
This position requires extensive walking, bending, balancing, and kneeling. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Work Environment:
