Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and high-energy bartender with outstanding communication skills to serve both classic cocktails and innovative new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet patrons, familiarize themselves with their preferences, answer inquiries, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Additional responsibilities include upselling items, creating recipes, utilizing appropriate equipment and ingredients, and performing basic cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:
– Deliver an enjoyable drinking experience to customers
– Serve beverages while ensuring a clean and sanitary bar area
– Attend to detail and presentation for each order
– Prepare and maintain ingredients in accordance with established recipes
– Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety protocols, ensuring appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items
– Coordinate daily inventory supplies for the bar and submit orders to the supervisor; assist with the receipt of deliveries
– Collaborate with the supervisor to contribute to daily, holiday, and themed drink menus
– Ensure uninterrupted bar service during the supervisor’s absence
– Complete cleaning tasks according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed
– Assist in orienting new employees to their work area
– Address customer complaints and suggestions, effectively resolving issues
– Instruct personnel on the use of new equipment and cleaning methods, while providing efficient techniques for maintaining the workspace
– Participate in programs, committees, or projects aimed at enhancing service quality and employee productivity
