Job Description
Job Title: BARTENDER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Company: Compass Group
Location: Granville, OH
Pay: $8 – 12 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $8 to $12 for a bartender position in Granville, OH, appears to be below the national average for bartenders, which typically ranges from $12 to $20 per hour, not including tips. In Ohio, the average wage for bartenders is approximately $11 to $15 per hour, depending on experience and establishment. Additionally, the expected income from tips can significantly enhance total earnings, especially in busier establishments. Given that Granville is a small town, the lower end of this range could reflect local market conditions, but it may still not be competitive, particularly for skilled bartenders. Overall, while the wages may align with lower-cost living standards, they do not fully meet industry expectations, potentially leading to challenges in attracting and retaining qualified staff.
