Job Title: BARTENDER (FULL TIME)

Company: Compass Group

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $14.53 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14.53 for a full-time bartender position in Detroit, MI, is generally below the industry standards for this role, particularly in urban areas with a vibrant dining and nightlife scene. As of 2023, bartender wages in larger U.S. cities typically range from $15 to $20 per hour, not including tips, which can significantly enhance total earnings. While this rate may be competitive for entry-level positions or establishments with lower cost structures, it could be perceived as uncompetitive for more experienced bartenders or those working in higher-end venues. Additionally, considering the rising cost of living and labor market conditions, an increase in pay might be necessary to attract and retain skilled bartenders in the area.
