AI Pay Analysis: To provide an accurate analysis of the hourly rate for a Bartender in Clarkston, MI, it’s essential to compare it to local and national averages. As of now, the median hourly wage for bartenders in Michigan generally ranges from $10 to $15, but can be higher when tips are included. In Clarkston, a suburb with a mix of suburban and seasonal residents, competitive rates might be closer to the upper end of that range, especially in areas with high foot traffic or dining options. If the offered rate is at least $12-$15 per hour plus tips, it is considered competitive and aligns well with the industry standards. Conversely, rates significantly below $12 may not attract experienced candidates or reflect the cost of living in the area. Overall, the competitiveness of the pay depends on specific local market conditions, including demand, the establishment’s reputation, and the bartender’s experience level.
