As a member of our team, you can expect the following responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
  • Utilize recipes and adhere to portion control guidelines to mix, garnish, and present beverages.
  • Record orders in the point-of-sale system and generate checks for guests.
  • Process cash transactions accurately, providing change, verifying charges, and ensuring proper execution of vouchers.
  • Uphold the bar’s appearance and maintain an adequate setup at all times.
  • Manage the preparation, cutting, and storage of all fresh fruits, vegetables, juices, and other perishables to ensure product freshness and quality.
  • Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, particularly concerning minors and intoxicated patrons.
  • Perform general cleaning duties using standard sanitation products, as assigned by the supervisor, to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of bartending experience is required, with certification from an accredited state, federal, or local training program.
  • A foundational understanding of food and beverage preparation and knowledgeable service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and accurately take their orders.
  • Strong basic mathematical abilities to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, conduct cash drops, and understand measurements.
  • A valid food handler’s permit and alcoholic beverage service permit, as mandated by law.
  • Brand certification as required.
  • The capacity to memorize, recall, and promote various menu items.
