At SSP America, we are seeking dedicated Bartenders who thrive in a dynamic environment while delivering exceptional service to our guests through expertly crafted beverages and exquisite food offerings. Our bartenders stay informed about the latest trends in the alcoholic beverage industry, possess significant experience in beverage preparation, and demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail in service. In our fast-paced restaurants, you will be expected to work efficiently and accurately, ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service at all times.

As a valued member of our team, you can anticipate the following responsibilities:

– Warmly greet guests in a timely and friendly manner.
– Utilize established recipes and exercise portion control to mix, garnish, and present beverages.
– Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system and generate checks for each guest.
– Process payments from guests, provide change as necessary, verify the validity of transactions, record charges, and ensure that vouchers are properly executed.
– Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of the bar at all times.
– Oversee the storage, preparation, and cutting of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily to uphold product quality.
– Adhere strictly to all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations governing the service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated patrons.
– Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by a supervisor to comply with health standards.
– Carry out additional tasks as necessary to support the team.

Requirements:

– A minimum of one year of bartending experience is required, including certification from a state, federal, or local training program.
– A solid understanding of food and beverage preparation, particularly regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
– Proficiency in verbal and written English to effectively communicate with guests and take orders.
– Basic mathematical skills necessary for operating a cash register, making change, totaling guest checks, and preparing cash drops.
– Possession of food handler and alcoholic beverage server permits as mandated by law.
– Brand certification as required.
– An ability to remember, recite, and promote the diverse array of menu items available.
