Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the company’s standards of excellence in guest service, coworker interaction, and uniform presentation.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service accurately.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring responsible serving practices.
• Gain knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits to effectively suggest and upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving sizes.
• Verify guests’ identification according to state and federal laws to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol sales.
• Communicate cutoff times to guests as needed.
• Actively listen to and address customer requests or concerns.
• Manage and de-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests; escalate to management or security as appropriate.
• Seek management assistance when faced with decisions beyond the standard scope of practice.
• Request product replenishment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate cash handling practices and manage the designated cash bank at the bar.
• Keep a clean and sanitary workstation at all times, ensuring bar equipment is properly maintained.
• Perform additional duties as needed, including the setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing the cooler.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of six months of bartending experience is required.
• Proficient cash handling skills.
