Job Description
Job Title: Behavioral Health Unit Administrative Assistant
Company: Wayne County Probate Court
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $39250 per year
AI Pay Analysis: A salary of $39,250 per year for a Behavioral Health Unit Administrative Assistant in Detroit, MI, translates to an approximate hourly rate of $18.87. While this may fall within the lower range of administrative roles in healthcare, it appears to be generally below average compared to similar positions in larger metropolitan areas, where pay can often exceed $20 per hour or more, depending on experience and the specific demands of the role. Factors such as the cost of living in Detroit, which is lower than in many other U.S. cities, can influence salary expectations; however, this rate may still be seen as uncompetitive, particularly when considering the required skills and responsibilities associated with supporting behavioral health operations. Overall, it may not align with more competitive industry standards, suggesting room for salary adjustments to reflect the workload and expertise required.
