AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a Behavioral Technician in Lansing, MI, it is essential to consider both local and national trends in compensation for this role. As of 2023, Behavioral Technicians typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with some factors such as certification status and specific employer requirements influencing pay. In Lansing, the average rate tends to hover around the lower to mid-range of this spectrum, making it competitive when compared to lower-cost living areas, but potentially less so compared to regions with a higher cost of living. Overall, if the offered hourly rate aligns within this range and reflects local economic conditions, it can be considered competitive, especially for entry-level positions, although advanced or certified technicians may seek compensation at the higher end to match their skills.
