Job description:

Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts. Monitor kitchen line supplies and assist with menu planning for specials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables in preparation for consumption.
  • Collaborate with management staff to assist in menu planning for special events, considering factors such as costs and labor.
  • Regularly inspect and clean food preparation areas, including equipment and work surfaces, to uphold safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensure proper food storage and cooking temperatures by diligently regulating the temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
