Job Description
Job Title: Bistro Cook
Company: Courtyard
Location: Portage, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a Bistro Cook in Portage, MI, is relatively competitive when considering the general wages for culinary positions in the area. As of 2023, entry-level cooks in Michigan typically earn between $14 and $18 per hour, depending on experience and the specific establishment. While this rate aligns with local standards and may attract candidates, higher-end restaurants or those requiring specialized skills might offer more, particularly in urban centers. Therefore, while $16 is fair for a Bistro Cook role, it could potentially limit the attraction of more experienced candidates unless coupled with additional benefits or opportunities for growth.
