Job description:
Job Summary:
The role involves overseeing the daily operations of equipment to transport products, in addition to operating various material handling equipment as needed.

Essential Functions:
* Operate company-owned trucks to facilitate efficient shipping and receiving operations.
– Execute delivery, pickup, and relocation of products using company vehicles.
– Conduct shred pickups utilizing designated shred bins.
* Deliver exceptional customer service during all delivery and pickup activities.
* Operate all required material handling equipment.
* Maintain all necessary certifications in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs.
* Safeguard and maintain all entrusted property in optimal condition.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned to enhance overall team operations.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, reporting any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; ensure equipment cleanliness.
* Adhere to safety and security standards in performing all duties.
* Load and unload trucks efficiently.
* Mentor and train assigned trainees.
– Engage in one-on-one training sessions covering interpersonal skills, production quality, and other competencies selected by the trainees to facilitate community employment.
* Ensure adherence to quality control measures and meet shipping deadlines.
* Initiate and complete documentation for quality assurance and contractual obligations as required.

Education and/or Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Industrial experience is preferred. Candidates must maintain an acceptable driving record and possess a valid chauffeur’s license. Strong organizational skills and computer literacy are essential, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Candidates should be eligible for forklift operation licensing and proficient in operating manual lifts.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The position requires the ability to bend, stretch, and lift at least 40 pounds, as well as the capability to drive for extended periods. The individual may occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, noise, fumes, dust, and other environmental factors.
