Position Details:

As a Branch Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored solutions and establishing meaningful connections with walk-in customers using your expertise, guidance, and positive demeanor. Your responsibilities will include maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing customer expectations. Throughout your day, you will pivot between assisting customers and undertaking various warehouse tasks while reporting directly to the Store Manager.

This is an hourly position with a starting pay of $X. Please note that the compensation range is a guideline and not a guarantee. Offer decisions will consider factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographical location, and team internal equity.

You Will:

• Oversee the complete customer experience, which entails selecting appropriate products, ensuring accurate order entry, safely picking products, and properly loading customer vehicles.
• Seek opportunities to enhance sales and promote customer loyalty.
• Adjust your communication style to effectively engage different audiences via email, phone, or in person.
• Select, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Manage customer backorders and organize received stock.
• Assist with merchandising and maintain showroom inventory.
• Conduct inventory counts as required.
• Learn and proficiently navigate various computer systems related to customer service and warehouse operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the branch to meet Grainger’s standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all process standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:

• Flexibility to work during any hours within branch operations.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and heavier loads with assistance.
• Willingness to learn to operate powered industrial equipment.
