Job Title: Buffet Attendant/Prep Cook, The Morning Dish | PT

Company: Greenleaf Hospitality Group

Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Pay: $14 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for a position as a Buffet Attendant/Prep Cook in Kalamazoo, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the spectrum for food service roles in the area. According to various sources, including the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and local job postings, the average hourly wage for similar positions typically ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, reflecting the cost of living and demand for kitchen staff in the region. While factors such as experience, specific job responsibilities, and the establishment’s operating budget can influence pay rates, the offered wage of $14 may struggle to attract qualified candidates, especially in a competitive labor market where many workers seek higher compensation.
