Job Description
Job Title: Bus Assistant
Company: National Express
Location: Birmingham, MI
Pay: $15.05 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, the hourly rate of $15.05 for a Bus Assistant in Birmingham, MI, is relatively low when compared to industry standards for similar roles, which typically range from $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. In Michigan, the minimum wage is $10.10, so while this rate exceeds that, it may not be competitive, particularly in regions with higher costs of living or where public transportation roles often pay more to attract qualified candidates. Overall, while the rate is above minimum wage, it may not be sufficient to draw in talent or to reflect the responsibilities typically associated with the position.
