Job description:
This sales position entails collaborating closely with field Account Executives (AEs) to identify, qualify, develop, propose, and close recurring services and branded solutions offered by Logicalis. The primary focus of this role is to drive sales growth through the establishment of profitable, long-term contracts that yield tangible business results for our clients, while also nurturing and expanding customer relationships.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Logicalis’ solution portfolio, including its scope, value propositions, differentiators, governance processes, implementation strategies, and contract terms. Additionally, the individual will maintain an in-depth knowledge of the market dynamics, including clients’ IT operations, competitive landscapes, and prevailing industry trends.

Key responsibilities include:
– Identifying new business opportunities that align clients’ needs with Logicalis’ solution offerings.
– Formulating opportunity pursuit plans to direct and synchronize sales initiatives.
– Evaluating opportunities based on specific criteria to prioritize efforts and enhance win rates.
– Sustaining a qualified opportunity pipeline to achieve target sales goals.
– Building strong client advocacy and compiling necessary information to support proposals.
– Crafting persuasive proposals that facilitate client decision-making.
– Guiding the client through their decision-making process to secure verbal approvals.
– Successfully closing business transactions by managing client approvals, along with contract writing, delivery, and negotiation.
– Assisting in the seamless transition for the Service Delivery implementation team through effective communication and support processes.
– Collaborating with AEs and other sales team members to ensure successful sales execution.
– Establishing trust with decision-makers through knowledge, expertise, integrity, thought leadership, and exceptional client experience.
– Leading the sales pursuit in conjunction with the client and the supporting Logicalis team.
– Adhering to all Logicalis sales, quality assurance, and approval protocols, and utilizing related tools and resources.
– Contributing to the development of sales collateral and intellectual capital, including presentations, proposals, proof of values (PoVs), and win write-ups.
– Upholding an understanding and commitment to the mission and values of Logicalis.
– Ensuring knowledge of relevant Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, as well as Logicalis policies, to uphold ethical and professional standards.

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in each Essential Duty and Responsibility. The preferred qualifications include:
– A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
– A minimum of 10 years of experience in creating technology solutions from products and services that address clients’ business needs across various markets.
– Proven consultative and solution selling abilities, capable of delivering both solution and vertical insights.
– Strong business acumen and IT knowledge, proficient in engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive management, to uncover business challenges and objectives.
– Excellent leadership and communication skills, complemented by the capability to develop business and financial cases.
– Familiarity with diverse roles within client enterprises and comfort engaging in consultations across and beyond data centers.
– Comprehensive understanding of current solution trends, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.
– Active involvement with industry organizations that encourage growth as a trusted advisor alongside AEs and Area Sales Directors.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various sales tools is essential.
– Industry-related certifications are advantageous.
