Catawba Island Club (CIC) is a renowned full-service private resort, featuring hotel accommodations, an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a marina, a retail shop, a fitness center, dining establishments, banquet facilities, outdoor patio dining, as well as both indoor and outdoor bars and pools. Family-owned since 1967, CIC has distinguished itself by delivering exceptional experiences for both members and guests.

We are currently seeking to employ two part-time bussers, with the potential for full-time hours as we approach our busy season commencing Memorial Weekend.

In the role of busser, you will be pivotal in providing an exceptional dining experience for our members, maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of our dining areas. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that our dining environment remains immaculate and welcoming, while assisting servers in delivering outstanding service that guarantees guest satisfaction. We uphold the highest standards of safety and sanitation and your commitment to these principles will contribute significantly to creating unforgettable dining experiences.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize tables and chairs, arranging them according to predetermined standards for guest use.
  • Efficiently transport dirty dishware to the dishwasher area, segregating and organizing items to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors before and after each service.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclable materials responsibly.
  • Uphold sanitation and safety policies to protect both the establishment and its patrons.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, accommodating the demands of our business, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory.
