Job description:

Assists the Site Manager in leading the car wash location to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, maintain team member satisfaction and retention, uphold Conrad’s esteemed image and reputation, and meet performance objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service that consistently exceeds expectations while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Cultivate a loyal customer base by fostering trusting relationships grounded in integrity and fairness.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, employees, and supervisors to ensure understanding of all relevant matters.
  • Present a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional demeanor to customers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the site, including equipment maintenance, repair, and the quality of the wash services.
  • Manage daily operations of the car wash, including handling deposits, maintaining inventory, ensuring cashier machine functionality, and processing discount codes.
  • Accurately invoice customers using established procedures for cash, charges, and credit transactions.
  • Address customer complaints, employee conflicts, and operational issues with a composed and fair approach.
  • Analyze and apply performance business data to inform daily operations and enhance productivity.
  • Meet established monthly performance goals.
  • Follow daily opening and closing procedures meticulously.
  • Execute all administrative tasks and meet deadlines, including employee scheduling, evaluations, and inventory management.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Site Manager in their absence.

Primary Interactions

This position regularly interacts with the Car Wash Business Development Manager, car wash location employees, WMC personnel, vendors, and select store location personnel.

Education and/or Experience

A high school diploma is required, along with six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and skills in repair/maintenance, sales, customer service, and branch management operations are essential.

Language Skills

The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required. Candidates must also possess the capability to write routine reports and correspondences, and to speak effectively to customers and employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages is essential.
